About

Twenty years of brand strategy, built into software.

Arqo was built and bootstrapped by Ahmad Badr, a brand strategist with two decades of practice, so that the depth of real methodology is available to every strategist, every agency, and every business that wants it.

1Why Arqo exists

I spent two decades doing brand strategy at the highest level. I built Arqo to bring that depth within reach of everyone who needs it.

Stakeholder interviews, audits, competitive analysis, positioning, messaging, brand architecture. I learned the craft across multiple markets, from the Americas to Europe and the Middle East, and I loved the work. I also saw where the time went. Keeping the rigour intact takes in-depth research and analysis at every step. Iteration and interrogation. Recurring benefit-states, territories, and shifts, drafted into defensible presentations and documents. All necessary, and all of it takes a large team, a stretched timeline, and a hefty budget. This is exactly what makes serious strategy an investment only large organisations can carry.

AI changes that equation. Not by generating answers from nothing, but by carrying the repetitive load so the strategist can spend their time where it counts: on judgment, engaging the client, and turning a hypothesis into a real-world solution adopted by the organisation.

Arqo is that idea built out in full. The methodology inside is shaped over twenty years of practice and refined into robust, intelligent code.

2The problem & the solution

What Arqo changes for the strategist.

The repetitive work, automated

Research, audits, synthesis, and first drafts run through Arqo. The hours that used to go into gathering and assembling now go into thinking.

The judgment stays with you

Arqo proposes, tests, and structures. You decide. Every output is a starting point for your refinement, built to the standard a senior strategist would hold it to.

Depth within reach

Serious methodology has been an investment sized for large organisations. Arqo makes it available at subscription prices, so independent strategists, small agencies, and growing businesses can work with the same rigour.

A strategy that stays current

Arqo keeps monitoring the market after the strategy is set, tracking brand health and flagging shifts, so the work stays useful long after the project ends.

How it works

Arqo encodes the full strategic process into twelve connected modules across three layers: Monitor, Define, Activate. It carries the research, the synthesis, and the drafting. You bring the judgment. The full strategy comes together in days, and Arqo keeps it current as the market moves.

3The founder
Ahmad Badr, founder of Arqo

Ahmad Badr

Founder · Brand strategist · London-based, Middle East focused

Ahmad has spent two decades helping organisations define who they are, what they stand for, and how they grow. He has led brand strategy on national greenfield projects, global repositionings, portfolio restructures, and new-venture launches across the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East, working directly with CEOs, CMOs, and leadership teams.

Few strategists can build software, and few engineers understand brand. Ahmad trained as a computer engineer, cut his teeth in advertising, and spent the majority of his career in brand strategy. Arqo draws on all three: engineering discipline, communication instinct, and strategic rigour. He built Arqo himself as a bootstrap founder, methodology and code.

Arqo is independent and customer-funded. No investors, no outside agenda. The only people it answers to are the strategists who use it.

4A personal note

“Arqo carries everything I know about this craft. I built it for the strategists, so the hours go into the thinking, the client, and the decision-making.

If Arqo gives a strategist more time for the work that matters, inspires them to think bigger, and helps an agency do more with less, it has done its job.”
